How do I search legislative committee hearings and floor calendar?

The Calendar Report provides a listing of pending committee and floor schedules. You can search a state's entire calendar, or you can limit your search to just those bills you are tracking in your private files.

To do this:

1. At the State Net^® Tool Bar, click on the resources drop-down list and select "Legislative Calendar Reports".
2. Choose Committee & Floor Calendar. The Legislation Committee & Floor Calendar page
3. From Search Type, select whether you want to search a Private file, the Calendar state, or Hearings and notices.  Additional information about these choices is available below.

Option	Description
Private file	Select from the following options: Private file: Select the private file you want to search in. State Profile: Select the state profile you want to search in. (Note that the State Profile option is a custom group of states which can be configured, upon request, by State Net's Help Desk Team. Contact LexisNexis for additional details.) Search Tags: Choose the tags on which you want to search. (If you have assigned tags (or code numbers) to the bills in your Private File(s), you can find "tagged" bills by searching on specific tags or code numbers.) Display: Choose from the following options: o  Calendar Index: Displays hearing or floor information, bill ID, author, title, and last amended date of the qualifying bill. o  Calendar Comprehensive: Displays hearing or floor information, bill ID, state ID, author, title, summary, and last amended date of the qualifying bill. o  Create New Display: This lets you choose which fields you want to be included in your results: -   State ID: Displays state-assigned bill ID of the qualifying bill. -   Author: Displays the author of the qualifying bill. -   Title: Displays official title of qualifying bill. -   Summary: Displays summary of the qualifying bill. -   Date of Last Amendment: Displays date of last amendment. -   Notes: Displays notes you have made in your private file on the  qualifying bill. -   Select Include client information to include information you have assigned to bills in your private file.
Calendar state	Select from the following options: Calendar state: Select a state for a complete floor and/or committee listing. Display: Choose from the following options: o  Calendar Index: Displays hearing or floor information, bill ID, author, title, and last amended date of the qualifying bill. o  Calendar Comprehensive: Displays hearing or floor information, bill ID, state ID, author, title, summary, and last amended date of the qualifying bill.

Hearings and notices	Select from the following options: Calendar state: Select a state for a complete floor and/or committee listing.

4. Click the Search Button.
