Using the Code Impact Link Table

The code impact link table provides a summary of statutory changes that result from the chaptered legislation and their effective dates.

1. When clicking on the State Net Bill ID, the content reader will display, Navigate to the Overview tab.

2. From there, scroll down and a table will display information as to New, Amended, Repealed and/or code sections. In addition, you get details on when statutory language is changing—giving you valuable time to plan a course of action.

3. If you are authorized for State Net Code Navigator, Lexis+, or Lexis AI you will be able to access the impacted statute on the Lexis Legal Research product from these hyperlinks.  From there you can:

1. You can navigate the code’s Table of Contents to easily browse to other applicable sections of that law.
2. Review other enacted bills impacting this statute that have yet to be codified
3. Compare the newly enacted laws with the previously codified version.
