A regulatory document is classified as any document issued by a state that:
- Is not an administrative regulation, and
- That does not directly affect, or relate to affecting, a state’s administrative code.
Regulatory documents may include (but are by no means limited to):
- Notices of regularly scheduled meetings held by a Board, Commission, or other state agency
- Procedural compliance documents related to various types of professional licenses
- Hunting and fishing season openings or early closings
- Notices of grant availability
